OMR Self Timing Muzzle Brakes, available in Titanium or Stainless Steel, have been engineered to provide the greatest recoil reduction of any brake on the market. OMR Self Timing Brakes are a great addition to your setup when wanting to remove your brake for use at the range, hunting or suppressor use. OMR Self Timing Brakes can be easily removed & installed at home. Made of Grade 5 Titanium or 416 stainless steel. Brakes are caliber specific and ready for install.
- Brakes are 1″ in diameter to perfectly match OMR muzzle diameters for a smooth seam-free transition from carbon fiber to muzzle brake.
- Available in 1/2”-28 TPI, 9/16”-28 TPI, and 5/8”-24 TPI.
- Average Weight of the Titanium Self Timing Brake: 1.8 oz
- Average Weight of the Stainless Steel Self Timing Brake: 3.5 oz
Caliber Specifications:
- Up to 6.5 = Good for any bullet caliber up to and including .264.
- Up to .30 = Good for any bullet caliber up to and including .308.
- Up to .338 = Good for any bullet caliber up to and including .338. (Only available in the Stainless Self Timing Brake)
- Up to .350 = Good for any bullet caliber up to and including .350. (Only available in the Stainless Self Timing Brake)
- Up to .450 = Good for any bullet caliber up to and including .450. (Only available in the Stainless Self Timing Brake)
OMR Muzzle Brake Wrench Specifications:
OMR Muzzle Brake Wrench is designed to not only make installation and removal easy, but it also protects your muzzle brake from scratches, dents, and gouges due to improper use.
- Fits all OMR self-timing brakes
- OMR recommends 25 to 30ft/lbs of torque for OMR brakes. DO NOT use “Loctit”. This will damage or ruin barrel and brake. If you feel the need to apply some sort of thread lock, OMR recommends “Rockset”. However, it is not necessary.
- Protects Cerakote finish
- Designed to be inserted into the first port of the brake, closest to the muzzle
- Make install or removal simple
- Wrench is designed to brake off it over torqued to help eliminate the changes of damaging muzzle threads, crown, and or barrel.
