Cerakote is a special coating that is applied to firearms that helps to protect it and increase its durability. This ceramic based finish is applied and helps to increase the material’s corrosion resistance, wear resistance, strength, and overall hardness.  Cerakote helps you protect your investment.  If you have a specific color of cerakote in mind, that isn’t one of our options, please give us a call.

Why Cerakote?

Cerakote is a special coating that is applied to firearms that helps to protect it and increase its durability. This ceramic based finish is applied and helps to increase the material’s corrosion resistance, wear resistance, strength, and overall hardness.  Cerakote helps you protect your investment.

Matching Cerakote?

It is virtually impossible to match cerakote colors exactly, due to difference in sheen, and/or fading of original cerakote. We highly suggest cerakoting everything with the new cerakote color of your choice.

Project Time?

At the present time we are running 1-2 weeks AFTER we receive your project at the shop. Times are subject to change due to condition of parts received and/or custom paint color choices.

Important Information regarding Barreled Action or Action Only:

If sending a barreled action or action only, the bolt assembly will always be painted black, regardless of color selected. We use an elite series paint that is very smooth and goes on thin to insure a very smooth functioning rifle.

Important Information regarding AR style rifles:

If choosing to cerakote your AR style rifle, it must be 100% disassembled. We will not disassemble, assemble or re-assemble AR’s.
