This is not just a decorative part, the shroud is designed to protect the shooter’s face in the rare event of a cartridge rupture or failure, where hot gas and powder debris can travel back through the bolt body via the firing pin hole. Factory rifles have a plastic or cast shroud which does absolutely nothing to protect you the shooter.

• CNC machined from high grade 6061 aluminum alloy
• Black shroud is hard coat anodized, suitable for fitment to blued rifles (satin finish)
• Coil spring is identical to the Tikka original spring, but ours is made from stainless steel
• Fits the following Tikka/Sako Rifles: T3, T3X, 558, 590, 595, 658, 690, and 695.
• Weight  0.46oz (this is a weight savings of .63oz by replacing the factory shroud)
