Customize Your Rifle with Options
With the Tikka T3/T3X upgrade package, you will receive your original Tikka rifle back lighter, more accurate, with less recoil, and an overall more enjoyable hunting and shooting experience. OMR guarantees 1/2 MOA with all our rifle builds.
**Since you are providing your own action for this package, YOU are responsible for providing the correct action for your caliber of choice. This includes correct bolt face and action length. For example:
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact OMR before placing your order. OMR does not provide bolts and/or open up bolt faces to accommodate any given caliber.
OMR TIKKA UPGRADE PACKAGE INCLUDES:
New match grade OMR Carbon Fiber Tikka Prefit Barrel up to 28″ in your choice of caliber (OMR Tikka Prefit Carbon Fiber Barrels are a true shouldered prefit, meaning no barrel nut), threaded to your choice of thread pitch; and your choice of stock or chassis.
PLEASE NOTE: Your rifle upgrade package will come with the factory bolt shroud, trigger, bottom metal, bolt handle & bolt stop release; Unless upgraded to our OMR options. Everything will be factory unless you choose to upgrade them.
BARREL BREAK-IN PROCEDURE:
The following procedure is recommended when breaking-in an Oregon Mountain Rifle Co barrel.
NOTE: Allow the barrel to cool to ambient temperature before shooting each series of break-in rounds to avoid unnecessary throat erosion. Do not shoot your rifle in succession until the barrel is too hot to touch with a bare hand. DO NOT USE MOLY COATED BULLETS DURING BREAK-IN.
BARREL MAINTENANCE:
Once the barrel is broken in, remember to clean your barrel after approximately every 75 to 150 rounds; depending on caliber & bullet load to keep accuracy optimal. A dirty bore is a primary cause of poor accuracy. You know your rifle best, so use your best judgment.

CURRENT LEAD TIMES:
– Please allow 8-10 weeks for us to upgrade your Tikka Rifle with the Peak Forty Four Stock
– Please allow 6-8 weeks for us to upgrade your Tikka Rifle with the WOOX Superleggera Stock
– Please allow 18-20 weeks for us to upgrade your Tikka Rifle on the MDT HNT26 Folding Chassis
– Please allow 16-20 weeks for us to upgrade your Tikka Rifle on the XLR Chassis
Lead times are subject to change due to barrel and stock/chassis availability.
SHIPPING INSTRUCTIONS:
– Once your order is placed, we will send you shipping instructions to your email
– PLEASE REMOVE SCOPE RINGS, BASES, SLING, AND ANYTHING THAT WAS ADDED TO YOUR RIFLE. OMR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE ITEMS AND IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BROKEN/DAMAGED SCOPE MOUNTS/SCREWS THAT CANNOT BE REMOVED. IF ITEMS ARE NOT REMOVED, A $25 FEE WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR SHIPPING INVOICE.
– Please only ship us your action & bolt or barreled action if you are unable to get your barrel off.
– Any items being replaced by OMR will not be returned to the customer without written request at the time of placing your order. If customer requests items be returned, those items will ship separately at the customer’s expense.
– Please ship via UPS, whenever is possible. However, if you use another shipping company, be sure to add “signature required”.
– You must include a copy of your DL, as well as a copy of your OMR order.
– PLEASE NOTE: YOU are responsible for the entire cost of return shipping of your rifle. An invoice will be sent to you upon completion of your rifle for the exact shipping cost. Your rifle WILL NOT ship until this is paid in full.

All upgrade package sales are final, once the rifle has been shipped. Any upgrade package canceled after your order is placed will be subject to a 30% restocking fee. If for any reason there is a problem with performance we will work with you to remedy any problems that may arise.
OMR TIKKA BOTTOM METAL:
Replaces the factory bottom plastic. Available in standard or skeletonized options. Guaranteed to work with factory Tikka mags. Some after market mags may require smith work to function properly. Will NOT accept ACIS mags.
OMR SELF TIMING MUZZLE BRAKE:
OMR Self Timing Muzzle Brakes, available in Titanium or Stainless Steel, have been engineered to provide the greatest recoil reduction of any brake on the market. OMR Self Timing Brakes are a great addition to your setup when wanting to remove your brake for use at the range, hunting or suppressor use. OMR Self Timing Brakes can be easily removed & installed at home. Made of Grade 5 Titanium or 416 stainless steel. Brakes are caliber specific and ready for install.
OMR BOLT HANDLE WITH KNOB:
Knobs are available in either a skeletonized ultra light or carbon fiber option. Ambidextrous, fits left or right handed rifles. Handle made of 416 Stainless Steel. Coated in Black Nitride. 5/16″ x 24 TPI thread to accept most bolt knobs.
OMR BOLT FLUTING:
Give your rifle a custom look and feel with OMR’s bolt fluting service. Bolt fluting is not about weight savings. This is purely cosmetic and personalizes your rifle to you.
CUSTOM CERAKOTE:
Cerakote is a special coating that is applied to firearms that helps to protect it and increase its durability. This ceramic based finish is applied and helps to increase the material’s corrosion resistance, wear resistance, strength, and overall hardness. Cerakote helps you protect your investment.
PEAK FORTY FOUR:
Every stock comes standard with swivel studs. Coming in at 20 ounces, the Blacktooth is one of the lightest production carbon fiber stock on the market. Coming in at 24 ounces, the Bastion features an ultra-comfortable vertical grip.

XLR:
The Element 4.0 Magnesium is an ultra-lightweight modular hunting rifle chassis designed for the backcountry hunter. MDT:
The MDT HNT26 Chassis System is the first truly purpose built hunting rifle chassis. This rifle stock provides you with all of the usual benefits that you expect from a chassis system such as v-block bedding, LOP and comb adjustment, AICS magazine compatibility etc, but weighs in starting at only a mere 26oz. The MDT HNT26 Chassis is constructed of a magnesium alloy rifle stock/base, with a carbon fiber forend, a carbon fiber pistol grip and a foam filled carbon fiber buttstock. With the increased number of hunters using ARCA tripods, we have included an integral ARCA rail, as well as a foldable buttstock for compact storage. NOT AVAILABLE IN LEFT HAND, LONG ACTION MODELS.
